Experience
During my bachelor's degree in Latvia I was tutoring in a project that involved preparing high school and pre-high school kids for mathematics Olympiads, as well as I've had several private students in mathematics, both high school and BSc level. Also I worked as a sales manager for SAF Tehnika, an international, leading telecommunications hardware manufacturer, where I had the perfect experience to learn how to convey technically difficult ideas to very non-technical people. On top of that I believe that a deep understanding of mathematics is an immensely valuable tool in today's technological world, however the way it's presented in the classroom in most cases creates the idea for it being useless for the particular individual, who maybe has other main interests. I know that mathematics can be presented in a way, that attracts curiosity, underlines the practical purposes and tells us something profound about the Universe we live in. The same is true for physics. Not learning, but understanding is the key, which I have noticed I can provide for the vast majority of the students that I have tutored.
