Experience
I'm currently in the last semester of a History Master's degree at Leiden University, and writing my thesis on neoliberalism and American social and economic policy. Since I've been at Leiden I've taken seminars covering nationalism, European Political History, Economic History, and American History. During my undergraduate career at University of Massachusetts I was an Army cadet, and took courses on Middle Eastern History, Global Security, Criminology, and Criminal Justice. Prior to beginning my graduate program at Leiden University I spent two years working for Xerox and one year working for Boston Scientific, which gave me valuable experience in corporate communication. I feel comfortable tutoring students in any area of American History, Modern European History, European Social and Economic History, and both corporate/professional and academic English. Since living in the Netherlands I've become increasingly involved in the English speaking stand-up comedy scenes in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam :)
