Experience
Over the course of the past decade, I have taught undergraduate and high school students of different backgrounds and needs. I have worked in countries such as France, the United Kingdom and the United States as instructor of record, teaching assistant and tutor. I have taught survey courses in English and Gender Studies, advanced undergraduate seminars in literature, philosophy and political science, expository writing, translation and English as a Second Language (ESL). I have offered these courses through a variety of departments (Comp Lit, Gender Studies, English, Philosophy, Applied Math) and institutions (Brown University, Sorbonne University, Lycée Claude Bernard) and drew students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds (literary arts, humanities, social sciences and stem fields). I am a native speaker of French with a near-native knowledge of English and I am also highly-experienced teacher. I have done most of my training and teaching in an international context. I have been through the IB system and working across the French, British and American educational systems for all of my career as a student and a teacher. I am a dedicated teacher that believes in positive reinforcement and close monitoring of a student's progress.
